Why I Created Make with Me Experiences
From an early age, I was drawn to the world of textiles.
Some of my fondest memories are of picking out patterns, feeling the textures of fabrics, and spending countless hours crafting pieces with my hands.
There was something deeply satisfying in the rhythm of creating.
each stitch felt like a small, intentional step toward something meaningful.
For years, I created on my own projects, treasuring the meditative solitude.
But as time went on, I found myself craving connection—to share this love for textiles and the joy of creating with others.
The turning point came when I made a quilt with friends for someone special.
In that shared process, I discovered the power of community creation—the laughter, the stories, and the support woven into each piece.
It became clear that this experience was a way to connect, heal, and celebrate life together.
Now, I bring my passion to others through quilting and weaving workshops, inviting people to explore their own creativity, express their stories, and connect in a meaningful way.

Weaving for Possibility
Weaving is more than just creating something beautiful; it’s a contemplative practice that connects you to your senses, vitality, and joy. Science has proven that it’s great for mental health and healing. The alternate and rhythmic movement of the left and right sides of the body helps to reset the nervous system by allowing our brains to process information, memories, and even trauma. Weaving with me is a chance to slow down, reconnect, and tap into a sense of ease that’s sometimes hard to find in the day-to-day.
You’ll explore themes of structure, stories, choices and being present while we weave together. The result will be ‘perfectly’ imperfect and I always make sure that it ends up being something useable; a reminder of your learning, growing and creativity.

Whether it’s a new beginning, a period of healing, or honoring a life transition, quilting can be a beautiful way to capture the moments that shape us. You can choose new fabrics or use fabric from meaningful items—clothes, blankets, or even those hidden-away pieces that hold memories.
I’ll guide you through each step, and you can choose to work one-on-one or create your own supportive circle of friends. Together, we’ll turn your memories into a tangible, heart-filled creation that will last a lifetime.

Love Textiles for Connection
Love Textiles can be many things: a learn to sew project like a simple tote or pj's, an easy handmade doll, a macrame plant holder, indigo or natural dyeing, or fabric printing are some examples. Over the years, I've tried many different textile arts and what I like best is to share a beginner making experience that inspires creativity, playfulness and pride in a finished product.
Like the weaving and quilting options, the end result of the making will be much more than the finished product. A bag made as a gift for a special friend is an opportunity to reflect and feel joy. Experiencing the transformation of indigo dyeing offers amazing learning in a group setting. Being the one to make a doll for your child is an opportunity to reflect on playfulness and our amazing bodies. The more you lean INTO the process, the more you will be able to apply the contemplative experience in your everyday life.
