Imagine a safe creative space where you can explore, make, and transform. No experience is necessary. Bring your playfulness, curiosity and the willingness to create. When we gather to sew, weave or make, we start simply, letting our hands move and our breath settle. Textiles invite us through texture, color, and touch. The rhythm of the loom, the pull of thread, and the feel of fabric beneath your finger become a way to slow down and listen. As we stitch, layer, and piece together beauty, we soften. The nervous system exhales. A quiet sense of ease begins to bloom.
A Love Textile experience isn’t just about learning a new skill. It’s a chance to reconnect with your creative life force. With gentle guidance and grounding practices like breathwork and embodied awareness, you’ll leave feeling rooted, resourced, and open. The fabric becomes a place to hold stories, dreams, and desires. It becomes something real you can touch and take with you. A reminder.
Together, we create something far beyond the fabric. We create moments of presence, connection, and joy. We remember what it feels like to move from the heart, to trust our hands, and to let beauty emerge. And in that process, something shifts. Movement creates possibility.

Working solo allows you to dive deeply into the process, moving at your own pace and in tune with your inner world. Creating in a private session is a peaceful, meditative experience where you can fully immerse yourself in each step—from selecting meaningful fabrics to stitching each piece with care and intention.
This solo approach can be especially powerful if you’re going through a personal life transition. You can let memories and emotions flow naturally into your work, turning each cut and stitch into a moment of reflection. It’s a private journey of creation that lets you connect deeply with yourself, honor your own pace, and enjoy the satisfaction of a finished piece that holds your unique story.
As we work together one-on-one, I’ll provide gentle guidance, making sure you feel supported in each phase. We’ll have space to discuss your intentions, the memories or emotions you’d like to weave in, and I’ll be there to teach, encourage, and help bring your vision to life.
Creating in a group setting is an entirely different, yet equally meaningful experience. Here, the process is about community, connection, and learning together. Group sessions bring the joy of shared laughter, stories, and the collective experience of working towards a common goal. As hands are busy stitching or weaving, conversations flow naturally, creating a supportive environment where participants share memories, insights, and even moments of vulnerability.
In these gatherings, we learn from one another, creating a beautiful textile keepsake that represents not just individual stories, but a collective one. Participants often leave with new friendships, a feeling of camaraderie, and a shared memory embedded in each piece of fabric.
I facilitate the group experience to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported, whether they’re seasoned creators or picking up a needle for the first time. I provide guidance, teach new techniques, and encourage collaboration so that everyone finds a meaningful way to contribute. Group projects often feel like a beautiful patchwork of personalities, each piece representing a different voice, but together forming a cohesive, heartwarming whole.
Whether you choose a solo or group approach, you’ll experience the therapeutic, joyful act of creating with intention, honoring the process and the memories woven into each stitch. Both paths offer a unique opportunity to connect—with yourself or with others—while creating a meaningful piece that represents a special transition or moment in life.

Weaving is more than just creating something beautiful; it’s a contemplative practice that connects you to your senses, vitality, and joy. Science has proven that it’s great for mental health and healing. The alternate and rhythmic movement of the left and right sides of the body helps to reset the nervous system by allowing our brains to process information, memories, and even trauma. Weaving with me is a chance to slow down, reconnect, and tap into a sense of ease that’s sometimes hard to find in the day-to-day.
You’ll explore themes of structure, stories, choices and being present while we weave together. The result will be ‘perfectly’ imperfect and I always make sure that it ends up being something useable; a reminder of your learning, growing and creativity.
Whether it’s a new beginning, a period of healing, or honoring a life transition, quilting can be a beautiful way to capture the moments that shape us. You can choose new fabrics or use fabric from meaningful items—clothes, blankets, or even those hidden-away pieces that hold memories.
I’ll guide you through each step, and you can choose to work one-on-one or create your own supportive circle of friends. Together, we’ll turn your memories into a tangible, heart-filled creation that will last a lifetime.
Love Textiles can be many things: a learn to sew project like a simple tote or pj's, an easy handmade doll, a macrame plant holder, indigo or natural dyeing, or fabric printing are some examples. Over the years, I've tried many different textile arts and what I like best is to share a beginner making experience that inspires creativity, playfulness and pride in a finished product.
Like the weaving and quilting options, the end result of the making will be much more than the finished product. A bag made as a gift for a special friend is an opportunity to reflect and feel joy. Experiencing the transformation of indigo dyeing offers amazing learning in a group setting. Being the one to make a doll for your child is an opportunity to reflect on playfulness and our amazing bodies. The more you lean INTO the process, the more you will be able to apply the contemplative experience in your everyday life.
JOY: Celebrate a bride or mother-to-be with a beautiful scarf made by her loved ones.
WONDER: make your baby a beautiful blanket, doll, hat, or crib quilt as a symbol of your love.
GRIEF: Make a quilt by yourself or in community to help transform sadness to lasting connection and courage.
ANXIETY: make a blanket to Create comfort and groundedness for you and your child when bodies are changing.
STUCKNESS: Get making and moving to see yourself as a creator of possibility.
DEATH: Keep hands busy while you keep your loved one company on their final journey.
love: Express affection for your beloved with the perfect handmade gift.
In a world that constantly pushes us toward numbness or productivity, choosing to prioritize pleasure is radical because it opens new possibilities for how we live, love, make, and relate.
Pleasure isn’t frivolous. It’s the compass for meaning and aliveness.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your body and unsure about how to feel more like yourself again, start here. You don’t have to be fixed. You just have to come home.
Redefining pleasure as ease or a regulated nervous system or whatever word feels right to you is a powerful beginning. When we are regulated, we are more able to know not just what we don’t want but what we do want.
Tracking pleasure is essential and when you get to know how to pay attention to sensation, it points us toward our deeper YES and equally important our NO.
My work weaves together creative practice and embodied education. Whether we’re exploring the 4D Pleasure Anatomy Model, stitching inner knowing into fabric, or moving together in breath and presence, my desire is to help you feel more connected, capable, and alive.
If you're anxious about reconnecting with your body, I can offer you these promises:
I won’t see you as broken, only powerful. We will only go as fast as your slowest part.
Together, we will explore the creative process, where we acknowledge where you’ve been, where your heart longs to go, and what steps can help you find your way.
But most importantly, I walk this path alongside you. I trust in what becomes possible when you get curious and choose what makes you feel alive.

I am reaching out to thank you, from the bottom of my heart and toes, for weaving so much magic into my bridal shower. It was truly one of the best days of my life, and that phenomenal scarf is now my most cherished extension of myself.
It was such a special day, and you, your energy and your craft made it all the more special.
Thank you, I love you! You are a magic weaver!!!
There are moments of sewing, of having been individually guided along a joint creative path, of listening to conversations, of seaming together smaller, then larger pieces, of harvesting my children's old pyjamas and night gowns for the raw strips of the log cabin style.
There are moments which surpass the result which is this splendid quilt. Emerging into the creative space with an expert guide who has the feeling of what to offer is my treasure. The quilt reminds me of my children and also of our sessions creating beauty.
I am consistently drawn back to moments of pure joy and an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. This experience, encompassing not only the incredible final products but the entire journey and the unity it fostered, is something that will undoubtedly stay with me.
Lesley's leadership in this community project was nothing short of exceptional. Her guidance was not just about completing a task; it was about creating a community where everyone, regardless of their skill or expertise, felt an authentic sense of belonging.
The moments we shared in creating these quilts were nothing short of magical. Lesley orchestrated an atmosphere where memories flowed freely among us, and silent reverie was as much a part of the process as the stitches themselves.
My biggest takeaway from quilt making with Lesley is that everyone is needed and we each brings unique gifts. No skill is too small and no effort is insignificant. It reminds me that we need each other and that the group effort is powerful- both for the maker and the recipient.
Lesley’s awe for the creative and her faith that the process will be exactly what is needed, ensures a safe space where all ideas and feelings are welcome and honoured.
I received my quilt from Lesley, my mom Jane, and other members of their quilting community after I graduated. Receiving that quilt was so special to me, and it continues to be a source of fond memories and appreciation. The level of effort, care, and consideration was incredible.
When we received this quilt, stitched together with the love and care of so many hands, we felt an overwhelming sense of warmth, both physically and emotionally. Our quilt a testament to the kindness of a community that surrounded my daughters and me in a time of immense loss and resilience.
Each square tells a story, a reminder that my wife’s spirit lives on in the memories we cherish and in the people who continue to honor her. To wrap ourselves in this quilt is to feel the embrace of those who have walked alongside us, offering comfort when words fall short.
On behalf of my daughters and myself, I extend my deepest gratitude. This quilt is a gift and a symbol of love, remembrance, and the unbreakable bonds that connect us all.
I was turning 60 and wanted a connective creative project to mark the milestone. Lesley helped me to take my idea, and create something beautiful and deeply meaningful. The “story quilt” that now covers my bed is a tapestry of love, of all the incredible people in my life who contributed a piece of fabric and a story to my quilt (and my life).

With Lesely’s warm guidance and her capacity to imbue the project with supportive listening and playful imagination, not to mention incredible practical skills, I was able to let go and just trust the process. From start to finish it was heartwarming!
